Thursday 01.05.2008 sunny - 16 laps (a 1,4km) - City of Wörgl

 

Nick , Mathieu from the international and Jakob,Andi,Matej,Luka,Matevz and for the girls Martina,Ana,Klara.

 

Strong race from the team again, Luka is falling in the 2 lap but he finished and this is  important for the Teamranking .

 

Mathieu,Nick,Jakob and Mathieu making some attacks and they are inthe leadinggroup with 4 outher skaters. In the final sprint Mathieu and Nick tooks gold and silver , Jakob get 4 and Matej 6.

 

In the mainpacksprint Andi get the 12 and Matevc 14.

 

In the womensrace Renata Korabova - tooks the gold and Silvana get silver , Klara 3 Martina 5 and Ana 6.

Sunday 20.04.2008 - sunny - 4 laps ( a 10,5km) - around the Wiener Prater

 

Mathieu and Nick from the international Team ( > they did on the day before the WIC in Zug)

From the beginning the Rollerblade IBU Team controll the race many attacks, and in the 2 of 4 laps Mathieu, Nick and Jakob are away from the maingroup, they work good together and finished ofer 4 Minutes before the maingroup.

 

in the massprint Matej 9.place, Matevz 12.place and Luka 14.place.

 

In the womens race 5 girls go together to the last 500m in the sprint Martina get there

first podium this year 3.place, Ana took the 6.place  , Klara was in the first group but she have problems with the frame and lost the first wheel so she must give up :-(

Halfmarathon in Hainfeld.

We do a nice trainingsrace overlap all participants and win in the time 39.21min.

    How do you feel about joining the Rollerblade I.B.U. Speedodrom? What are your expectations ? Im very happy that i can skate with speed skating stars like Mathieu and Thomas and with my friends Nick and Christian and I hope that I will learn as much as possible and that we will be one big family and we do everything for each other to do the best result.
    How long have you been skating ?  8 years
    What do you prefer in your sport ? Adrenalin, excitement to skate in group fast and be in a final sprint with all the best and if it is possible beat them.
    What gave you the desire to begin skating ? I was always on skates when I was a child. When I trained tennis I go every time on training with skates and than my father asked me if I want to try train this, because the club for skating was in next village and I went to training and started.
    The summary of your 2007 skating season ? This was my first season in WIC, and I decided, that I want to do this seriously. I had good race in Gera which gave me confidence, that I’m on a right way to be good skater.
    Your sport goals for the coming years ? This year I want to get a lot of experience and if I will have chance to get some good result I will grab it. I want to reach medal in European championships and top 10 at the Worlds.
    One line to describe what you feel when you skate? Freedom and happiness that I can do what I love.
    How do you see the evolution of Inline skating in the coming years ? We need more media in our sport and in every country we need tracks or roads that children can skate on them and than, we will have more competitors and more recognisability, and when we will get this, will become Olympic sport.

    How do you feel about joining the Rollerblade I.B.U. Speedodrom? What are your expectations ? I'm feeling cooooool to join the team :)  and my expectations, hmm i will see how it goes and enjoy, but i just wish structure on the team. And that the skaters race the ass out :)
    How long have you been skating ?  Since 2000.
    What do you prefer in your sport ? All, but 500m sprint and marathon.. And feeling good.
    What gave you the desire to begin skating ? I have fun when i skate, and flying over the asphalt  on some wheels was good feeling and then i was ask to try to go from aggressive to speed skating, i try and it was good. I like the speed and wild things.
    The  summary of your 2007 skating season ? Hmm Shit :) hehe... No, i have always been told to look positive on all things from my dad and my coach Jens, no matter how bad it looks, there is always some good. I had a lot problems last year, no power and control in the legs, but sometimes shit happens...And i found the reasons, so that's already good. I train a lot and raced the euros and some WIC races and so on. And it give good experiences. But i think the best in 2007 was that i did do a very nice Berlin Marathon in the nice rain :) i was 9th and i started the break away alone. And some good skaters join me. I show that i was good enough to race the WIC. And for sure the Danish control the party in Berlin :)
    Your sport goals for the coming years ? I have many goals for this year, but one is a medal at Euros and why not worlds to :)  And i race all out.
    One line to describe what you feel when you skate ? I'm The best.
    How do you see the evolution of Inline skating in the coming years ? I don't know, I just see it now, and its getting bigger slowly, but my wishes for the coming years is that's its groin and i hope it will be OL discipline once..
    Your favorite sportsman or woman ?  I have many, but Paolo Bettini from the cycling world is just cool. Then my self :) and my coach Jens,he is very good sportsman/coach and in the Rollerskating world i have Pier Davide Romani and Pascal Briand. (I like so much the kind person thy are, clever,easy and the skating way.) Normally i like the persons who is easy even if they are a champ.
    Your best memory ?  -5th Place at EM in 500m sprint road in Germany 2005.  -11th place at worlds 500m sprint road. -Winner of the GBC 2005 all the 4 races i raced.  -Berlin Marathon 2007, 9th. -Winning a lot races in Belgium, Zaandvorde 2006.
    Favorite film ? G.I. Jane, The Rock and Rambo, Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones and X-men :)

    How do you feel about joining the Rollerblade I.B.U. Speedodrom? What are your expectations ? I expect a lot from the year 2008. With a professional staff, a super team and a perfect sponsor, I expect it to be an educational year for me. It’s my first year in the World Cup, and I can learn a lot more. After the GBC last year I wanted to step up. Together with to very experienced skaters as Mathieu and Thomas I can learn a lot. Together with those and some young coming stars like Gapi and Niki, I hope to get some top results with the team.
    How long have you been skating ?  I started inline skating in January 2001, so only 7 years.
    What do you prefer in your sport?  The smoothness, the speed and then intensity. And then I like that it’s an individual sport as well as a team sport. So there are so many points of views into the sport. I like the feeling of crossing the finish line with high speed and crossing with a dive. I like the way you feel when you are cruising at high speed and just relaxing following.
    What gave you the desire to begin skating ? I played football on high level as a kid, together with my twin brother, until I was 16 years old. Then I stopped because of political reasons. Actually it was my parents who started first skating, they where doing a weird triathlon with running, biking and skating. And since I stopped playing football, my twin brother and I just wanted to try something new and funny – since that day we where caught.
    The summary of your 2007 skating season ? The season 2007 started really bad for me since I was injured for 8 weeks. I was causing that I could not perform any training but strengths for the upper body. After bad crashes in Gross Gerau and in Gera at the international competitions I was starting to get scared that I would be a hard season mentally. But with good support of my national coach I reach my level again and together with my team Subaru-Bont I got some good results with winning 4 of the big races in the German-blade-challenge. In the end of the season I was overall winner of the competition which the year before I could not even imagine I would have a chance. Additional to that I got a good Euro’s, even though I was not fully fit after a hard recovery period. My best and the best Danish male senior result ever was a 5th place in the Elimination/Points race. For that I got the big motivation. In the end of the season I was doing two WIC races in Mainz and in Berlin. With some good performance and hard work I managed to get my best results ever in a WIC race, with a 21st in Berlin and a 18th in Mainz. Overall my best season ever. Unfortunately the Danish government did not allow us to come for the World Championships, but we will be ready for Worlds in Spain.
     
    Your sport goals for the coming years ? My big goal is to establish my self good and the team in the World Cup. I want to do a good performance for the team – and get some top results. If possible and enable with team goal, then I want to get a top 10 in a World Inline Cup Race. Additional to that I want to, on the national level, also to get a medal at the European championship.
    One line to describe what you feel when you skate ?  Control, joy and freedom.
    How do you see the evolution of Inline skating in the coming years ? I would really that It will turn into a Olympic sport. In Denmark there are a lot going on, we are working hard for it. Sport colleges and Sport educational places are made with Team Denmark (and the Danish Olympic Comitee) and we are close getting into that system with our sport. That would open some doors. The media are more interested in our sport and some good sponsors are coming through. So I cross my fingers.
    Your favorite sportsman or woman ?  Arne Nielson (Olympic Gold winner and World Champion in Cano) and Eskild Eppesen 2 times gold winner at the Olympics (Rowing).
    Your best memory? 5th place at the European championships – I always dreamed of getting in a final of an elimination race.  
    Favorite food? Pasta, chicken and vegetables. I love the mix.
    Favorite music? Almost everything that makes me happy.
    Last CD you bought? A Mental training / Visualisation
    What kind of car do you have? Cars are too expensive in Denmark. And I prefer to do my transportation on skates or with my bike. 
    The car of your dream? Audi A8. 
    How is a perfect day for you? Wake up early – running very early in the morning ( I love running when there is no one around), eating breakfast, studying, relaxing with friends (or girlfriend J ) and then training with my mates in the evening. I love that. That’s life.
    Favorite clothes brand? Solid or Lacoste
    What you like the most? Honesty and having fun – and for sure skating – and then I love winning.
    What you hate? Not being honest and misunderstandings.
    Your qualities? disciplined and hard working – and always helping others.
    Your failings? Sometime forgetting my self and putting to much pressure on my self..  
    How do you picture yourself in 10 years? One of the best sportsphysios in Denmark and assistant national speedskating coach for the Danish national team – and then at that time when speedskating have been a part of the Olympics in 2016, then I have for participated as a age as 31.
    If you could be anyone you want for one day, who would it be? I only want to be my self.
    If you were an animal what would it be? A dolphin – fast, strong, clever and social.  
    Getting out of bed, what are your first thoughts? How am I going to get the best out of this day – and then breakfast.

    How do you feel about joining the Rollerblade I.B.U. Speedodrom? What are your expectations ? I am very happy to be in this team because I think that we all have a good chance to show how strong we really are. I hope that we will help each other to improve our tactical and mental preparation and also it’s important that we build very good friendship between us
    How long have you been skating ?   In april it will be 11 years
    What do you prefer in your sport ? That I can think about it like a game. You never know how the race will going on…you never know which tactic will use other team. You just know how strong you are and which result you want to achive.
    What gave you the desire to begin skating ? First I was skating on the ice but for summer my parents bought me a new pair of inline skates. The assistant saw me skating in the shop and she asked if I want to enjoy the new speed skating team in my village. Because I had nothing to do after the school (I was 7 years old) my mother took me to the first training in my life. In the evening after one month of training I created my goal…now I have the chance to make it come true.
    The summary of your 2007 skating season ? That was the first year in world inline cup where I get some good experiences for my top race- junior European championship in Nederland. There I made quite good results.
     
    Your sport goals for the coming years ? I want to be national champion,  an European champion, win the world cup and be in the top 10 at world championship.
    One line to describe what you feel when you skate ? All I feel is freedom and something that I’m addicted of.
    How do you see the evolution of Inline skating in the coming years ?All of us try to attract more publicity (media) so if we make this thing come true then I think that we will get more sponsors and also more skaters then we have good chance to come on Olympic games (I think this are the dreams of all of us)
    Your favorite sportsman or woman ?  Petra Majdič.
    Your best memory ? My first biggest race- European championship in Genemuiden (Nederland, 2003)
    Favorite film ? The secret and Million dollar baby
    Favorite food ? Pasta and yoghurt with corn-flakes

    Last CD you bought ? The French vocabulary –we get it in schoolJ
    What kind of car do you have ?  I don’t have a driving licence yet, maybe in one year I will get it.
    The car of your dream ?  Lamborgini
    How is a perfect day for you ?To be in mountain village with some good friends, where I would sleep till 10 o’clock and then I would go on training. After the lunch I would go sleep again and then we would go together climbing, cycling or much better-skating.
    Favorite clothes brand ?Jeans and t-shirt but most of the time I wear track suit.
    What you like the most ? Learning something new
    What you hate?Cheating and lying
    Your qualities ? I’m honest and I like to learn something new. Because of that I can listen and talk about everything. If I fell that I need something, I will beat till I will have it. I always give the best, never give up and change my disadvantages to my advantages.
    Your failings ? When I don’t succeed I become sad and then I start to think about the things that I made wrong.
    How do you picture yourself in 10 years ?I will have degree from studying for physiotherapistfizioterapevt or psychologist (I don’t know yet) and boyfriend…maybe I will have children… and i hope that I won’t lose the contact with skating.fizioterapevt
    If you could be anyone you want for one day, who would it be ? Petra Majdič, that I would find the secret about her way of thinking.
    If you were an animal what would it be ?  Sloth for 12 hours and lion for 12 hours
    Getting out of bed, what are your first thoughts ? O my God, why I have to go in school? It would be better to go training

    How do you feel about joining the Rollerblade I.B.U. Speedodrom? What are your expectations ?
    I’m verry happy to join this new team. I will be again with an old teammate (Mathieu) from 2000. It will be a new experience for me because i was always in very big team like Salomon, Powerslide…and to start a new history with a young team and with people who love inline it’s very nice and i’m very exciting. I will do my best for the team and hope win some races and show the color of the team highest as possible with a great image of fair-play, respect of adversary, rules…
     
    How long have you been skating ? 
     I practiced inlineskating for 18 years now.
     
    What do you prefer in your sport ?
    There are lots of things…like the speed, freedom feeling when you skate outside. And i like to be a « outdoor sport » because it’s very nice to skate under the sun during the summer.
     
    What gave you the desire to begin skating ?
    I just only wanted to do like my brother and it’s why i have started inline
     
    The summary of your 2007 skating season ?
    I was in Matter-World Inline center team with Yann Guyader, Jorge Cifuentes, Nelson Garzon and Ewen Fernandez. I started the season with a victory in the french championship «long distance » where i won the 5km time trial. After a long marathon season began with the French inline cup, World Inline cup and Swiss inline cup. For the french cup my results were 1 victory,2 x2nd, 1x 3rd. For the WIC and SIC, i did some good places in the Top 10 but my marathon’s season was not as i hoped before. For the french championships, it was almost good but there was Yann, and he was very impressive last year, so i finished lots of time second. At the european, i won 1gold (relay),1silver (1000m) and 1 bronce (500m). At Worlds, i did one bronce medal.
     
     
     
    Your sport goals for the coming years ?
    I really want to show that i can be a very good skater on marathon. Since i’m in the WIC circuit, i am close to the podiums with severals times 4th,5th…but never better. For the championships, i would like to win at least one other world’s title in the 2 next years. I already won one individual in 2004 but since Italy i only won silver and bronce and i want an oser one.
     
    One line to describe what you feel when you skate ?
    I feel a fluidity and a freedom to skate.
